Position Overview

An established OB/GYN practice in Warner Robins, Georgia is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide comprehensive women's healthcare in a collaborative clinical environment.

This position offers a four-day workweek, shared call responsibilities, and post-call recovery time. The CNM will work alongside OB/GYN physicians and clinical staff to provide patient-centered care throughout pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and routine women's health visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full-scope midwifery care, including prenatal, labor and delivery, postpartum, and well-woman services
  • Provide patient care in outpatient and hospital settings
  • Assess patients and develop appropriate care plans
  • Monitor patients throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
  • Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff
  • Participate in the practice's shared call schedule
  • Educate patients and families regarding pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, and women's health
  • Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care
  • Recognize changes in patient condition and collaborate with physicians and other providers when appropriate
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records and clinical documentation
  • Follow applicable clinical, regulatory, and practice standards

Required Qualifications

  • Current Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) credential
  • Active Georgia license or eligibility for Georgia licensure
  • Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical quality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an OB/GYN practice, hospital, women's health, or similar clinical setting
  • Experience providing full-scope midwifery care
  • Experience managing labor and delivery patients in a collaborative practice environment

Work Environment

This position includes clinical responsibilities in both outpatient and hospital settings. The CNM will participate in a shared call rotation and collaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians and other members of the clinical team.
