POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate supports distribution center operations by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and moving products accurately and safely. The role helps ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time while maintaining organized inventory and a safe work environment.

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, label, store, pick, pack, and move products and materials.
• Use handheld scanners, computers, and warehouse systems to record inventory movements accurately.
• Assemble customer orders and move completed orders to packing or shipping areas.
• Prepare and label parcels and shipments for carrier pickup, including FedEx and UPS as assigned.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and inventory records.
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment when trained and authorized.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged product, and safety concerns.
• Support other warehouse functions and perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, picking/packing, or inventory experience preferred; transferable experience will be considered.
• Previous handheld scanner or scan gun experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred; training may be provided based on job assignment.
• Experience with ERP/WMS, FedEx/UPS shipping systems, ISO 9001, hazmat/dangerous goods, or OSHA training is a plus.
COMPUTER SKILLSÂ
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn handheld scanning, ERP/WMS, and shipping systems. Microsoft Outlook, Word, or Excel experience is helpful but not required.

While working, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods; use hands to handle materials and equipment; reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and communicate. The role requires visual focus and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates primarily in a warehouse and distribution center environment. The employee may work around moving equipment, material-handling equipment, varying temperatures, noise, dust, and frequent pedestrian and product movement. Required safety procedures and personal protective equipment must be followed.
