Job Summary

Our team is seeking a detail‑oriented AutoCAD Technician with 2–5 years of experience to support the development of high‑quality plans, technical details, and project specifications. This position is based in our Warren, NJ office and includes occasional field work related to our environmental remediation projects. Field work would include :site construction documentation; construction monitoring; occasional sampling efforts; and supporting project teams during field activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate drawings, plans, and technical details using the AutoCAD Suite
  • Prepare project specifications and support design documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field staff
  • Conduct occasional field work for environmental remediation projects, including site assessments, measurements, and various groundwater, sediment, and soil sampling efforts
  • Maintain organized drawing files and adhere to company AutoCAD design standards
  • Assist with revisions, updates, and quality control of design documents


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree specializing in construction and/or engineering.   
  • 2–5 years of professional Civil 3D, AutoCAD 2D drafting experience
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and technical data
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Background in environmental science or environmental consulting is a plus
  • Familiarity with civil, environmental, or construction-related drawings
  • Strong communication and organizational skills


Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)

  • OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER
  • OSHA 10‑hour Construction Safety
  • Training can be provided for the right candidate.
