Position Summary


As a Sr. Scientist/LSRP (Licensed Site Remediation Professional), you will direct and oversee environmental investigations such as site assessments, groundwater monitoring, and soil remediation, and coordinate remedial actions in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. This position can be based in our Wall or Warren, NJ office. It is preferred that candidates hold an LSRP license and have prior experience in environmental consulting. 


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct the necessary site remediation activities including conducting the required investigation and completing appropriate remedial actions in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Project-specific quoting, budget tracking and scheduling to ensure regulatory deadlines are met and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with a broad network of internal and external clients.
  • Perform contaminated site investigations, development of conceptual site models, remedial action work plans and other documents required of site remediation projects.
  • Oversight, training, and performance management of junior staff.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Geology, or related technical field
  • 5-10 years of remedial assessment design and implementation 
  • 2-3 years Project management experience
  • NJ Licensed Site Remediation Professional in good standing (preferred)
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Experience with the development, design, and management of environmental investigation, assessment, compliance, and remediation projects.
  • 40-hr HAZWOPER training with annual 8-hour refresher training
