About the position

This position is for an Automotive Quality Liaison working within an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) assembly plant as a representative of a tier 1 supplier. The primary responsibility of the Automotive Quality Liaison is to maintain positive relationships with the OEM staff and assist in problem-solving activities. This role requires effective communication of issues in a timely and efficient manner to both the supplier and the management staff. Given the nature of the work environment, this position is characterized by a high pace, requiring considerable amounts of walking and being on one's feet for nearly the entire shift on many days. The Automotive Quality Liaison will be expected to navigate the dynamics of the OEM structure, engaging with individuals at all levels, from operators to management. This role is crucial in ensuring quality standards are met and that any issues are addressed promptly to maintain operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain positive relationships with OEM staff.
  • Assist with problem-solving activities.
  • Communicate issues in a timely and efficient manner to the supplier and management staff.
  • Navigate the OEM structure and relate to all levels from operators to management.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Motivated self-starter.
  • Mechanical inclination.
  • Ability to relate to all levels of an OEM structure from operators to management.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Prior automotive or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
  • Prefer someone with Liaison experience.
