We are a growing practice seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant/Scribe in our Warrenton, OR Clinic.Â
About the PositionÂ
This dynamic, full-time role combines the responsibilities of a Medical Assistant and Scribe, offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a detail-oriented individual. You will play a crucial role in supporting our dermatology providers by assisting with patient care and medical documentation.Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to the following):Â
- Assist providers with patient care, including preparing patients for exams and procedures.Â
- Accurately document patient encounters, medical histories, exam notes, and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR).Â
- Ensure smooth workflow by handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, verifying insurance, and obtaining prior authorizations.Â
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, medical instruments, and supplies.Â
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and treatment instructions.Â
- Work closely with the dermatology team to provide a seamless patient experience.Â
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.Â

Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMÂ

Requirements
Â
QualificationsÂ
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.Â
- Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.Â
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a dermatology clinic (preferred but not required).Â
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Â
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.Â
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Â
- Strong communication skills, including excellent phone etiquette.Â
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software.Â
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and thorough knowledge of HIPAA policies and procedures.Â
