Job Description:

The Clinical Coordinator, Health Sciences provides overall supervision and management of the Center for Patient Simulation Training, coordinates clinicals for all programs in the health-related departments and assists with the allied health and nursing laboratories; assists in developing, promoting, and offering quality classroom instruction, including curriculum review and development, student recruitment, and academic advising; manages and ensures clinical compliance is met for faculty and students; assists in course scheduling, ordering books, and requisitioning supplies, equipment, and materials; and evaluates program goals for instruction of faculty and students and ensures that teaching/learning goals are being achieved. Reports to Dean, Health Sciences.

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited institution with a master's degree in nursing; current unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse license; two years clinical experience in nursing; teaching experience in practical and/or associate degree nursing program; managerial experience in nursing. Successful results of a criminal background check and drug screening are required.

Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of §435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.

ANNUAL SALARY:  $52,800.00 – $60,000.00
