Description

SUMMARY

Utilizes the mold presses in the mold shop in order to fulfill daily production requirements as instructed by the Department Supervisor and the Production Manager.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  1. Utilizes multiple injection molding presses in a Class VII cleanroom to fulfill the production requirements.
  2. Follows procedures and policies in place to protect the manufactured product.
  3. Ability to read, understand and follow work instruction.
  4. Uses controlled drawings to manufacture a quality product.
  5. Accurately records batch and production information for each order.
  6. Loads the silicone injection pump with 5 gallon buckets (40lbs. ea.) of Liquid Silicone Rubber.
  7. Performs and logs daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping tasks to maintain the integrity of the molding facility.
  8. Ability to measure using a tape measure and dial calipers.
  9. Understands tolerances and how to apply them to measurements.
  10. Inspects product for visual defects or imperfections.
  11. Applies skills to solve problems in the manufacturing process.
  12. Shows initiative, is punctual, and dependable.
