Job Description
Are you a qualified Activities professional who enjoys meeting and engaging new people, and building relationships?聽Are you comfortable interacting with a variety of personalities?聽Are you聽creative and have good planning and organizational skills? Are you confident in your leadership skills and are looking for ways to grow as a healthcare professional. If so, have you considered joining Miller's as a Director of Life Enrichment/Activities Director?
As the Director of Life Enrichment at Miller鈥檚, you play a key role in patient satisfaction. You plan, coordinate and direct a wide variety of activities to enrich the lives of patients within the facility. You oversee and mentor other life enrichment staff.聽 You are a member of the multi-disciplinary care planning team, and you document activity plans and participation in the patient record in accordance with company policy and the State and Federal regulations governing those services.聽 聽You may transport patients to scheduled events away from the facility.
You might be the ideal candidate if you:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Are a qualified Activity Director for the State of Indiana or have previous experience in healthcare Activities
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Have previous supervisory experience (preferred)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Have good organizational and communication skills.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Are passionate about delivering excellent customer service
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Are professional in appearance and behavior
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Able to work with a dedicated team
Qualifications
聽General:
1. Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening.
2. Able to pass physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility.
3. Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training.
4. Be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions.
EXPOSURE CATEGORY II: Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but employment may require unplanned Category I tasks
