Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. - Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product dimensions, performance, and functionality. - Document and report inspection results, including any deviations from quality standards, to relevant departments for further analysis and corrective action. - Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and other quality control activities in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. - Participate in quality audits and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures. - Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques to promote a culture of quality awareness and accountability.Qualifications Required Education: - High school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree in a related field such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Manufacturing Technology is preferred. Required Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industry. - Proven experience with quality control processes, including inspection techniques and measurement tools. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies, including ISO and FDA regulations relevant to medical devices. - Proficient in using precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. - Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or deviations from specifications. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address quality issues. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. - Proficiency with computer systems and software applications related to quality control, such as statistical analysis tools and quality management systems. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve quality objectives.
