Description

Suite Life Health & Wellness LLC is a rapidly growing business responsible for the management of a regional network of Ambulatory Infusion Centers that specialize in treating patients with autoimmune and other chronic diseases. Unlike national, corporate-owned infusion chains, Suite Life is independently owned and operated, and decisions are made close to the patients and providers that we serve.

The Patient & Provider Liaison is responsible for developing and executing a territory plan to generate patient referrals from physicians and other healthcare providers, and serving as a trusted point of contact for referral sources and their patients. This role is best suited for a self-motivated, highly accountable professional with existing relationships and contacts in the local healthcare community and prior sales or liaison experience to build upon. The Patient & Provider Liaison works closely with senior management to develop strategies and goals that support the organization's mission, and is trusted to manage a territory and a schedule with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities:

Business Development: Educate physicians and their staff on the benefits of referring patients to Suite Life's Ambulatory Infusion Centers, generate referrals from Rheumatologists, Gastroenterologists, Endocrinologists, Neurologists, Immunologists, Cardiologists, Pulmonologists, and other specialties treating autoimmune and chronic disease, as well as case managers and discharge planners. Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, their sales reps, and others in the medical community.

Referral Calls and In-Services: Complete sales calls with medical professionals on a regular schedule for new business and nurturing of existing business. Use creativity to add value to their practice through concise in-services, lunch-and-learns, and interactions to share Suite Life's services and clinical capabilities. Serve as a trusted resource for the local medical community.

Community Relations: Develop relationships with patient support groups and organizations to promote Suite Life's services, and represent Suite Life at community health fairs and networking events.

Patient and Provider Coordination: Serve as the connection between referring providers, patients, and the Suite Life care team. Help patients and referring offices understand insurance coverage and prior authorization requirements, and coordinate with the clinical team to move referrals quickly from initial contact to first infusion. Provide tours of the infusion suite to referring offices and prospective patients.

Meetings: Attend sales meetings, conference calls, and training sessions as needed.

Team Player: Build strong relationships with Suite Life team members and help the company achieve its goals. Liaise with the team to continually improve processes, remove burden for patients and referrers, and proactively share the Suite Life story.

Planning: Independently develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans for the territory focusing on appropriate specialties and treatments. Collaborate with the team to achieve monthly referral goals, and hold yourself accountable to them.

Documentation: Keep detailed records of all contacts, interactions, referral volume, and pipeline activity in the Suite Life CRM. Track each referral from initial contact through conversion, and measure results against goals.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Established relationships and contacts within the local healthcare or medical community strongly preferred.

• Prior experience in sales, business development, or a liaison role. Medical or physician office sales experience preferred.

• Working knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorization, and referral coordination in a healthcare setting is a plus.

• Bachelor's, Associate, or clinical degree preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.

• Highly accountable self-starter with strong organizational skills and follow-through required. Comfortable managing your own schedule and pipeline with minimal day-to-day direction.
