How You’ll ContributeÂ
As an APP (PA or NP) with Luro Provider Group, you’ll deliver high-quality, evidence-based obesity medicine care to patients enrolled in our virtual programs. You’ll work collaboratively with physicians, dietitians, health coaches, care coordinators, and operational partners to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a fully remote environment. You’ll play a key role in improving access to specialized care, helping patients navigate chronic conditions, and supporting long-term behavior change through a tech-enabled care model.
Candidates must reside in Rhode Island and hold an active Rhode Island license.
What You’ll DoÂ
- Conduct virtual patient assessments and medical historiesÂ
- Diagnose and manage obesity and related chronic conditionsÂ
- Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with clinical protocols and supervision requirementsÂ
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plansÂ
- Monitor patient progress, safety, and treatment responseÂ
- Educate patients on medical and behavioral aspects of obesity careÂ
- Escalate clinical concerns and adjust care as appropriateÂ
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and participate in case reviewsÂ
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EHRÂ
- Uphold telehealth, prescribing, and compliance standardsÂ
What We’re Looking ForÂ
Licensure & Education:Â
- Active PA-C or NP license and DEA in good standing (required)Â
- NP board certified or PA program graduate (accredited)Â
- Must reside in Rhode Island and hold an active RI license
- Telehealth eligibility in assigned states
Experience:Â
- Primary care, obesity medicine, endocrinology, or chronic disease experience (preferred)Â
- Telehealth experience (preferred)Â
Skills & Attributes:Â
- Strong clinical judgmentÂ
- Excellent virtual patient communicationÂ
- Comfortable with protocols and supervision requirementsÂ
- Collaborative, team-orientedÂ
- EHR and telehealth platform proficiencyÂ
- Reliable internet and private, HIPAA-compliant workspaceÂ
Schedule & CompensationÂ
- Hours: ~32-40 hours/week, with flexibility based on availability and program needs.Â
- Hourly rate: $57-$65/hour, commensurate with experience.Â
