What You’ll Do

Under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Team lead, the phlebotomist assumes the responsibility for performing venipuncture and related procedures under the philosophy, policies, and procedures established by the hospital and department. The phlebotomist is the departmental ambassador and is responsible for providing excellent customer service. This position does not have access to funds

Required Educational Degree:
High School Diploma or GED Major/Area of Concentration:
Accredited phlebotomy course completion.
 
Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: Certified as a Phlebotomy Technician (PBT/CPT) as outlined in AHS Laboratory SOP Name: Certification Pathway and Certification.
