Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. is hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics, Trailer Technicians, and Reefer Technicians to support our growing fleet service operation. This role offers top pay, a 3 or 4-day workweek, and long-term career stability in a professional shop environment. Why Technicians Choose TRS $26.75–$40/hour, based on experience $2.00/hour night shift premium 3 or 4-day workweek – more time off every week PTO accrual starts Day 1 Medical, Dental, Vision (multiple plan options) Employer HSA contributions (bi-weekly) Company-paid Life & Long-Term Disability 401(k) with company match after 1 year ASE certification incentives Clean, well-equipped shop & supportive leadership What You’ll Do Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, reefers, and APUs Complete brake repairs, suspension work, and DOT/FHWA inspections Diagnose electrical systems and ABS brakes Handle tire services (mounting, balancing, flat repairs) Complete structural trailer repairs, rear doors, and washouts Troubleshoot APUs and assist with road service calls Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused shop Safely operate forklifts, hoists, and other tools Additional duties as assigned What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years experience (preferred) in diesel, trailer, or transport refrigeration repair DOT inspections & air brake experience required Valid driver’s license Obtain basic tools/toolbox Strong work ethic and team-first attitude About Transport Refrigeration Services Transport Refrigeration Services is a trusted leader in fleet maintenance and transport refrigeration, supporting commercial trucks and trailers nationwide.
