Peraton is seeking a dynamic and technically focused Agile Project Managers to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. In this role you will lead backlog management, stakeholder engagement, and agile execution to ensure program alignment. Whether you're supporting safety validation efforts or leading teams on major FAA programs, your work will directly impact the millions of passengers and aviation professionals who rely on safe, efficient airspace operations every day. In this position, you will:
• Lead Agile planning and execution for multi-disciplinary workstreams such as Surveillance, Radar, VTC, Radio, and Wireless engineering teams.
• Lead backlog refinement and prioritization, ensuring the work aligns with program objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Drive high-performing teams, foster collaboration, and deliver results that align with organizational goals and mission-critical outcomes.
• Facilitate scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups for agile teams.
• Engage stakeholders to capture requirements, manage expectations, and provide transparent progress updates.
• Monitor program performance and delivery metrics to identify risks, resolve blockers, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and leadership to ensure program alignment and value delivery.
• Maintain road-maps, status reports, and documentation to track progress and support decision-making.
• Champion agile best practices and servant leadership to build high-performing, self-organizing teams.
• Support change management and communication efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes or tools.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• U.S. Citizenship Required.
• Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience or Masters degree and 10 years or Associate's degree and 14 years experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 16 years experience.
• Experience leading projects in one or more of the following areas:
• Surveillance systems (e.g., surface surveillance, sensor feeds)
• Radar systems (primary/secondary, SSR, ASR, or similar)
• Video Teleconferencing (VTC) or multimedia communication systems
• Radio communications (VHF/UHF, RoIP, or aviation ground-to-air systems)
• Wireless infrastructure (Wi-Fi, microwave, backhaul, or RF systems)
• Proven expertise in backlog management, sprint planning, and agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with experience engaging senior leadership.
• Knowledge of agile metrics, reporting, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps).
• Demonstrated ability to drive alignment across cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with or for the FAA, DOT, or state aviation authorities.
• Prior experience supporting FAA NextGen, NAS modernization, or federal aviation strategy programs.
• Certifications such as PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist.
• Experience managing federal modernization programs or large-scale enterprise initiatives.
• Familiarity with FAA or government standards and compliance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of risk management, budgeting, and program governance.
• Background in coaching teams on agile practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
