Strittmatter Metro LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage multiple projects, from the office and field. The role is responsible for various aspects of project management work such as project submittals, preparing scope of work, subcontract writing, budget oversight, scheduling, vendor management, change order processing, and document control.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects with accuracy, precision, and speed
  • Ability to prioritize wok and meet deadlines while maintaining focus on quality
  • Develop and track schedule with project milestones and take all action necessary
  • to keep project on track
  • Prepare buy-outs and experience bringing subcontractors on board
  • Prepare information package for Foremen
  • Communicate scope and contract to subcontractors and Foremen
  • Attend progress meetings with general contractor
  • Conduct effective negotiation and effectively represent the Company in meeting with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Submit requisitions on a timely basis
  • Follow-up on requisitions and get involved with collections as necessary

Job requirements:

  • Minimum experience of three years
  • Site development/Earthwork experience
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Estimation experience
  • Solid written communication skills and strong verbal communication skills
  • Sound economic-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed and logical decisions
  • Experience reading, understanding and interpreting construction plans, contract specifications, scope- of-work, and geotechnical reports in order to execute effective contract administration
  • Strong work ethic
  • Experience with Heavy Job and/or M-Files software is a plus
  • Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction
