In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our organization's SQL databases and applications. As a SQL Developer, you will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth operation of our database systems and optimize their performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify database requirements and design efficient solutions
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions to support business operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues
- Monitor database systems and implement necessary updates and patches
- Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and disaster recovery plans
- Create and maintain documentation for database systems and processes
- Train and support end-users on database usage and best practices
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in SQL development to suggest improvements for our database systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in SQL development and database management
- Proficient in SQL programming and database design principles
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and other relational databases
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling
- Familiarity with healthcare data and HIPAA regulations is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
