Position Overview

Sandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking a Counterintelligence (CI) Analyst I to support Department of Defense and U.S. Air Force Special Access Program environments at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC.

The selected candidate will provide day-to-day multidisciplinary counterintelligence analysis supporting Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and Special Access Program activities. This position requires experience evaluating highly sensitive programs, identifying potential security vulnerabilities, analyzing emerging threats, and preparing written and verbal recommendations for senior Air Force and Department of Defense leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and evaluate U.S. Air Force security programs and assess the viability and effectiveness of highly sensitive and classified plans supporting sensitive activities and Special Access Programs.

  • Review and coordinate unique, highly classified proposals involving Air Force, Department of Defense, federal, and non-federal organizations, policies, tactics, procedures, and operational processes.

  • Support sensitive intelligence collection programs and other classified activities primarily supporting the Air Force and broader Department of Defense missions.

  • Research, analyze, and review counterintelligence, security, and signature-reduction matters.

  • Develop meaningful recommendations, reports, assessments, briefings, and other written products for senior leadership.

  • Identify and assess potential security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate risk-mitigation measures.

  • Review applicable security directives, regulations, policies, and instructions to ensure organizational and program compliance.

  • Prepare current and future threat analyses and counterintelligence assessments.

  • Provide timely customer support and counterintelligence subject-matter expertise in support of mission requirements.

  • Coordinate sensitive activities and Special Access Program matters while protecting classified intent, capabilities, vulnerabilities, sources, methods, and operational details.

  • Prepare and deliver verbal and written briefings to senior Air Force and Department of Defense officials.

  • Maintain strict accountability and safeguarding of classified and sensitive information.

  • Perform additional duties as required in support of contractual and mission objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years of intelligence or counterintelligence experience within a Department of Defense component.

  • Demonstrated experience conducting intelligence research, threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, or counterintelligence support.

  • Knowledge of Department of Defense and Air Force security policies, intelligence processes, and classified program environments.

  • Ability to analyze complex information and develop clear, accurate, and actionable recommendations.

  • Strong written communication, briefing, research, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-tempo, classified operational environment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior military, civilian, intelligence, and program leadership.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Four additional years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

Security Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance with current Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility.

  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Program information.

  • Must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph.

  • Must maintain all required clearance, access, and security eligibility throughout employment.

Work Environment

This position is performed onsite at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC within secure government facilities. The role requires compliance with all Department of Defense, Air Force, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and Special Access Program security procedures.
