Job Description:
Summary: The Activity Security Representative I’s primary function is to provide multi-disciplined security support to a customer’s facility and organization. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.Â
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Â Â
- Classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondenceÂ
- Assist in the maintenance of a document accountability database and associated correspondenceÂ
- Processing inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt recordsÂ
- Perform destruction of classified materials ď‚· Process magnetic media for accountabilityÂ
- Reproduction support for classified materialsÂ
- Maintain various daily logs for a variety of administrative functions associated with document controlÂ
- Assist in the processing of inbound data and outbound data transfer filesÂ
- Transfer electronic data files to internal customersÂ
- Maintain an extensive customer database point of contact listingÂ
- Assist with researching, processing, filing, and maintaining inbound and outbound visit notices Â
- Escort facility visitors and maintains associated logsÂ
- Assist in the preparation of facility access control badgesÂ
- Conduct entry and exit inspectionsÂ
- Assist in the maintenance of facility access control entry systems, to include visitor controlÂ
- Perform data entry to the Personnel Access Security System database and maintain all customer sponsored billets and quota informationÂ
- Assist in maintaining personnel security files for all personnel of the supported elementÂ
- Follow and enforce the customer’s Standard Operating ProceduresÂ
- Provide support for the security awareness and education programsÂ
- Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security RepresentativeÂ
Requirement:Â
- One (1) to Two (2) years related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or equivalent (4 years) experienceÂ
Security Requirements:Â
- Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Programs
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph
Skills:
- Must be familiar with security policy/manuals and the appropriate DCIDs/JAFANs and other guiding policy documentsÂ
- Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partnersÂ
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Â
- Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervisionÂ
- Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note - could be extensive, and will include both air and ground transportation)Â
Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.Â
Communication:Â Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.
