We are seeking dynamic, experienced professionals to join our team as we create an elevated dining experience. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in fine dining service & a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. Position Summary The Assistant General Manager is a key member of the leadership team, partnering with the General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a premier restaurant and lounge. This role champions exceptional hospitality, operational excellence, and team development while ensuring the highest standards of food, beverage, and service. Through strong leadership, financial stewardship, and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences, the Assistant General Manager helps cultivate a refined, high-performing environment that reflects the brand's commitment to excellence. Daily Responsibilities Partner with the General Manager to oversee all aspects of daily restaurant and lounge operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences. Lead by example, fostering a culture of genuine hospitality, professionalism, and service excellence for both guests and team members. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and service recovery opportunities promptly and with discretion to ensure complete guest satisfaction. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership to develop, refine, and successfully execute seasonal menus and specialty offerings. Partner with the marketing, sales, and events teams to drive revenue, enhance brand presence, and execute successful promotions and private events. Coordinate front- and back-of-house operations to ensure efficient communication, timely service, and a consistently elevated dining experience. Oversee daily staffing, floor coverage, and shift execution to maximize operational efficiency and service standards. Recruit, interview, hire, train, mentor, and develop team members in partnership with the General Manager, maintaining appropriate staffing levels. Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, recognition, and corrective action to support employee growth and accountability. Monitor inventory levels, forecast operational needs, and oversee purchasing to maintain quality while controlling costs and minimizing waste. Analyze operational performance and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, profitability, and the overall guest experience. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all food, beverage, wine, and cocktail offerings to confidently support guests and the service team. All other duties assigned. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs. Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motions. Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials. Skills/Experience At least three (3) years’ experience working as an Assistant General Manager or similar role in fine dining hospitality/nightlife/ bars. Passionate about hospitality, food and beverage and morale/culture. Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively multi-task, and drive results. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
