Description
The Leidos National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) Program is looking for a Business Process Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Office of Advanced Aviation Technologies (AAT). The Office of Advanced Aviation Technologies will be the designated point for activities related to the integration of advanced aviation technologies including Advance Air Mobility, Unmanned Aircraft Systems, and Supersonic aircraft in United States. The incumbent will assist in all aspects of flight operations projects and applications resulting from new technologies, ensuring effective communication of their impact on instrument flight operations.
Specifically, this work directly supports the FAA’s safety mission and statutory requirements across multiple functional areas including safety oversight, security, and FAA Reauthorization implementation activities. Virtual based out of Washington DC
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design customized or special graphics, reports, charts, and media.Â
- Prepare briefings on high level/visibility issues/stand up topics.Â
- Edit and review responses for consistency and content prior to manager approval.Â
- Coordinate with appropriate personnel to ensure draft responses originate from proper authority.Â
- Provide technical editing support in developing, reviewing, editing correspondence, reports, orders, directives, etc.Â
- Produce and assemble program materials, establishing and maintaining program files.Â
- Develop and maintain dashboards on key AAT financial metrics and strategic trends.Â
- Develop and analyze daily, weekly and monthly reports on AAT business-related metrics.Â
- Identify potential trends and efficiencies/risks to management.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience. Sufficient relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as proficient in data analytics.
- Ability to communicate to various levels of management, with the capacity to multi-task, strong organizational skills, advanced budget development and adherence experience, and ability to organize and present at meetings consisting of agency and external stakeholders with a broad range of specialties and interests including members from professional aviation organizations are required.
- While no clearance is required to apply, you must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance to be hired.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in federal government contracting.
- Working knowledge of FAA systems.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
