Chief Engineer

About the Role

Complete Building Services, a building operations and facilities maintenance company, is currently seeking a Chief Engineer in Washington. The Chief Engineer must be available to work different shifts to cover building hours 6 am-6 pm. 

Salary $45.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide Quality Control services for the work of subordinates and subcontractors to ensure maximum efficiency, economy, and quality of work performed
• Perform diagnostic and repairs on building systems
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety system repairs
• Prepare work schedules
• Maintain records and prepare required reports
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Perform other duties as assigned

You Should Have

The Chief Engineer shall possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Experience 7-10 years in similar size facility and complexity
• Able to pass a government background check
• Universal CFC
• Demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of engineering and building systems
• LEED building experience
• Must have EMS background
• MD or DC license a plus 
• Ability to plan, organize and meet deadlines
• Excellent customer service/verbal/written communication skills
