E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a highly motivated Cloud Developer to be a full-time employee in Washington, DC to join our innovative and customer solutions focused team.

Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Developer that leads the design, development, deployment, and optimization of secure, scalable cloud solutions across the enterprise. This role shapes cloud architecture, automats cloud resource management, and enables delivery models such as Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Data as a Service (DaaS). The ideal candidate is an expert in DevSecOps, cloud-native development, and enterprise migration strategies, with a strong understanding of secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud environments.

• Experience with Zscaler cloud-based security platform with deployment, configuration, and maintenance experience. Experience with developing security policies, monitoring traffic, and responding to security incidents.
• Research, architect, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software including DevOps, security, and data analytic solutions.
• Drive, collaborate, and support the planning of system and development deployment as well as meeting software compliance standards with a particular focus involving integrations and data analytic solutions.
• Implement prototypes using new technologies and innovative techniques.
• Perform ongoing maintenance and review of application systems and programs, identifies problems, and develops appropriate solutions

Architect Cloud Solutions:

• Design and implement cloud service delivery models (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, DaaS) that meet business, security, and compliance requirements.
• Lead the design of reusable, scalable, and secure multi-cloud architectures.

DevSecOps& Automation:

• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automated configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab.
• Enforce DevSecOps best practices to ensure security and compliance are integrated into the entire cloud development lifecycle.

Cloud Migration & Modernization:

• Analyze existing applications to determine cloud readiness and develop tailored migration strategies.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption and maximal performance gain.

Optimization & Resiliency:

• Develop strategies for cloud failure recovery, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and cost optimization.
• Recommend improvements to application performance, cloud spend, and scalability.

Security & Governance:

• Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure cloud deployments meet internal and regulatory standards.
• Implement cloud-native security services and monitor for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and threats

Mentorship & Technical Leadership:

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers on cloud technologies, best practices, and solution delivery.
• Serve as a technical advisor across cross-functional teams and participate in enterprise-level cloud governance.

Required Qualifications

• Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of obtaining SCI CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of software or cloud development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead cloud role. 
• Deep hands-on experience with major cloud providers and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Advanced skills in Python, Java, or similar programming languages for cloud-native development.
• Expert in automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development.
• Proven experience building, deploying, and supporting mission-critical cloud applications

Preferred Qualifications

• IAM/IAT Level 3 Cert (CISM, CCSP, CASP, CISSP).
• Professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect).
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture, serverless technologies, and event-driven design patterns.
• Familiarity with enterprise security frameworks and compliance (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001).
