Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity at the Department of State! The Collaboration Platform Administrator will administer and maintain enterprise collaboration platforms including SharePoint and other MS 365 collaboration tools. This ensures we deliver collaboration capability that supports the customer’s mission to provide IT services to DoS users enterprise wide.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • You will administer and maintain collaboration platform sites in conjunction with other DoS organizations, including SharePoint Online, MS Teams sites, and other MS 365 collaboration services as deployed by the customer.
  • You will conduct transitions to the latest version of collaboration platform, ensuring compatibility with cloud environments and enhanced collaboration features.
  • The Collaboration Platform Administrator provides support for collaboration sites, including add-ins and bug fixes using MS Power Automate, HyperText Markup Language (HTML), jQuery, and JavaScript.
  • You will be required to create, maintain, and troubleshoot site collections, project sites, lists, and libraries; implementing AI-driven tools for monitoring and troubleshooting, including predictive analytics for system health and compliance.
  • You will also be responsible for reviewing system resources, including Unified Logging System (ULS) and Windows Logs for system health concerns.
  • You will be required to monitor permissions and audit logs for governance violations and report them.
  • You will be responsible for managing and updating all guides, KM articles, and SOPs related to the customer’s collaboration platform processes and systems.

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The following are the education and experience required for this position:

  • 5+ years
  • Bachelor's in IT or related field
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
  • Secret Security Clearance 

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Comp TIA Sec+, ITIL 4 Foundation Certification(s) 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:   

    • Sitting for long periods
    • Standing for long periods
    • Ambulate throughout an office
    • Ambulate between several buildings
    • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
    • Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 40 pounds
    • Travel by land or air transportation up to 25%

Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to work location, skills, experience, gov con contractual requirements, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Empower AI's total compensation package for employees.
