Responsibilities:Â
Responsible for ensuring that assets required to deliver IT services are properly inventoried and accounted for, and that accurate and reliable information includes details of how the assets have been configured and the relationships between them are tracked.   Â
Perform baseline identification, configuration, control, review, and audit of Configuration Items (Cls) and configuration status accounting.   Â
Engage in automated data discovery, mapping services, data quality control, CI evaluation, analysis, and fine-tuning discovery schedules.   Â
Validate asset and configuration management concepts with the customer and stakeholders.   Â
Maintain the health of the CMDB and perform associated data quality control activities.   Â
Generate reports in support of ad hoc and routine tasks to support requests for information and/or satisfy audit and compliance activities.   Â
Modify policies and procedures, including updating SOPs and documenting processes associated with the execution of sound asset and configuration management practices.   Â
Manage Requests for Change (RFCs) to ensure additions/modifications to the enterprise baseline are accurately documented/inventoried within the CMDB.   Â
Implements configuration management best practices across the life cycle of systems.   Â
Attends and supports asset/configuration management working groups and technical exchange meetings as required.   Â
Facilitates integration of CMDB with other IT management systems and enhances processes for data aggregation from all CIO automated collection tools to increase data quality.  Â

Qualifications:Â Â
TS/SCI with CI Poly (or ability to obtain a polygraph)Â
Experience: At least 8 years of experience
Education: Master's degree in a related fieldÂ
Strong working knowledge of networks, data centers, hardware, and software required.  Â
Service Asset Configuration Management (SACM)/ServiceNow CMDB experience highly desired.   Â
Hands-on experience with administering the ServiceNow Platform, including the IT Operations Management (ITOM) suite of tools (primarily Discovery, Service Mapping), SAM, HAM, and/or CMDB highly desired.   Â
Security+, CISSP, or similar Security certification, or ability to acquire Security+ certification within 6 months mandatory for 8570 compliance.   Â
Working knowledge of Configuration and Change Management Processes is a plus.   Â
DoD and IC experience desired.   Â
Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Visio.   Â
Have excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.   Â
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute assigned tasks while under pressure.   Â
Excellent creative problem-solving skills.   Â

Salary Range: $115k - $135k
