Job Description: The Construction Logistics Manager will be instrumental in the daily operation of the construction departments of the company.

Reports to: Superintendent

Wage Status:Ā Exempt (Ineligible for overtime)


Job Responsibilities:

ā— Maintaining detailed stock, incoming, and outgoing inventory records.

ā— Conduct physical inventory checks and prepare reports.

ā— Report low running supply of materials to project manager/superintendents in a timely manner

ā— Managing, scheduling and tracking incoming deliveries as well as storage

ā—‹ Cross referencing purchase orders to ensure materials have been delivered in full

ā—‹ Confirming materials and finished good arrive accurately and clearly marked as per FF&E

ā— Overseeing deliveries, unloading, and storage processes as well as distributions of materials across the site

ā—‹ Maintain a delivery sign-up sheet with times that is coordinated with all subcontractors on site. One sheet should be for hoist deliveries, and another should be for deliveries that need the tower crane.

ā— Maintain the perimeter fence. Direct labor in moving temporary fences, cones etc according to the GV TCP plans.

ā— Help superintendents sequence work effectively to allow workers pathways to all areas of the building. If areas are shut down this is to be sent out in an email to all subs on site with a diagram labeling which areas are shut down and for how long.


Requirements:

  • Work together with project managers, superintendents and supervisors to maintain safe pedestrian foot traffic, coordinated deliveries, supply chain of materials that ownership buys and safe storage of finish materials on site.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (at least 60 lbs), climb ladders up to 24 ft, stand and walk for 8 hours, and perform other physically demanding duties as directed.
