ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY 

HPN is seeking a Co-Op student to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality data solutions for HPN and its members. This role will enable HPN to showcase the impact generated by its activities, social enterprises, and member organizations. This position is meant for someone to take while pursuing their studies – if graduating prior to June 2026, please do not apply. 

OVERVIEW: 

  • Start/End Date:July 6–December 23 (six-month co-op).
  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm ET. This is a temporary, full-time position working37.5 hoursper week.
  • Hourly Rate: $25/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Supportbusiness teams in thecollection, organization, and analysis of data.
  • Assistin gathering and documenting requirements for dashboards and analytics solutions, along with building andmaintainingreports in Power BI to support decision making.
  • Ensure data quality through review and validation.
  • Contribute to projects aligned with enterprise strategy.
  • Identifyinsights and opportunities for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currentlypursuing amaster’sdegreein DataAnalytics, Data Science, Computer Science,Statisticsor similarfield(exceptionalsenior undergraduates may be considered).
  • Experience with analytical tools and languages supporting data analysis, reporting, and visualization like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Python,and/or SQL. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with polished written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability tocomprehend, interpret, and synthesize business needs/requirements and translate into workproduct. 
  • Comfortable communicator across all levels of the organization; able to effectively tell stories with data and present findings to a non-technical audience. 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRMpreferred. 
  • Previousinternship or co-op experiencerequired.

OTHER

  • HPN is a remote-first company. “Remote-first” is an organizational strategy that makes working remotely the primaryoptionfor most staff. Allnew staffwill berequired toin the Boston area multiple days during weeksdesignatedas All-Staff weeks. There may beadditionaltimes when teamsare required totravel by their leader, based on scheduled events, teammeetingsand business needs.
