NOVA is seeking a Data Engineer to design, maintain, and optimize enterprise data pipelines, ETL workflows, APIs, and AI-ready cloud data services supporting ITA AI initiatives.

*This position is contingent upon contract award.*

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain ETL workflows and APIs
Support AI-ready data preparation and governance
Manage cloud-based data ingestion and transformation pipelines
Support analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives
Implement scalable and secure data architectures
Monitor and optimize data workloads and automation
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience supporting enterprise data engineering, analytics platforms, cloud data services, and AI/ML initiatives.
Years of Experience: 5–8 Years
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required; Public Trust / NACI minimum
Certification Requirements: Azure Data Engineer Associate preferred
Any other work-related qualifications needed for the role: Experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, APIs, Python, Power BI, ETL orchestration, and DevSecOps practices.

Work Location

Remote work is preferred, with occasional on‑site support in Washington, DC, as required.
