Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Enterprise Cloud Optimization & Integration Architect to drive cloud modernization, optimize hybrid environments, and ensure secure, high‑performance operations for enterprise financial systems. This role spans technical architecture, service operations, and compliance support.
The Work
• Modernize and optimize enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructures.
• Lead major migrations, infrastructure redesigns, and performance improvements.
• Conduct capacity planning and environment tuning for resilient, scalable operations.
• Design high‑volume integration architectures for batch and real‑time data exchange.
• Implement IAM solutions (SSO, MFA) and architect secure network and disaster recovery controls.
• Support ATO activities and security control validation.
• Operate an ITSM/ITIL‑aligned service model and manage SLA performance.
• Oversee service desk/contact center operations and monitor batch, interface, and month‑end processes.
• Partner with business, financial, legal, and program integrity teams to address compliance, reimbursement, and fraud/waste/abuse issues.
• Deliver data archiving, retention, and performance management solutions and build self‑service dashboards.
• Mentor technical teams and support legacy-to-modern platform integration.
Here Is What You Need:
• Expertise in enterprise cloud and hybrid architecture
• Experience leading large‑scale migrations and modernization efforts
• Strong performance engineering, capacity planning, and environment tuning skills
• Ability to design high‑volume integration architectures
• Hands‑on IAM experience (SSO, MFA, credential-based auth)
• Knowledge of network architecture, IAM controls, and disaster recovery
• Familiarity with ATO processes and federal security/compliance requirements
• ITSM/ITIL service operations experience
• Ability to manage service desk operations and SLA performance
• Strong understanding of batch cycles and operational workflows
• Ability to interpret business requirements against statutes, regulations, and policy
• Excellent cross-team communication and coordination skills
• Experience with legacy system support and modernization
• Ability to mentor engineering and operations teams
Bonus If You Have:
• Experience with cloud cost optimization or FinOps
• Background in federal financial systems or program integrity
• Knowledge of fraud/waste/abuse detection trends
• Familiarity with cybersecurity incident response
• Experience guiding contractors on system data flows and financial terminology
• Experience delivering data archiving and retention solutions
• Skill in building dashboards and self‑service analytics using Agile methods
• Knowledge of data governance and enterprise data management
• Experience with multi‑environment and multi‑instance strategies
• Exposure to high‑volume federal operational environments

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
