Key Accountabilities

• Partner with clients to solve complex litigation, claims, insurance, and business challenges 
through data analysis, problem-solving, and thoughtful recommendations. 
• Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets using SQL, Excel, Power BI, and other tools to 
support reporting, forecasting, financial analyses, and client decision-making. 
• Review, validate, and investigate data from claims, insurance policies, payments, and related 
sources, identifying discrepancies and ensuring the accuracy and quality of client deliverables. 
• Collaborate with clients, analysts, and software developers to understand business needs, 
document requirements, test new functionality, and support the rollout of enhancements to 
KCIC's technology platforms, including Ligado. 
• Support ongoing improvements to Ligado by participating in user acceptance testing, gathering 
user feedback, troubleshooting issues, maintaining documentation, and helping clients 
effectively use the platform. 
• Develop expertise in clients' businesses, litigation and claims management processes, insurance 
coverage structures, and KCIC's consulting and technology offerings. 
• Prepare and communicate analyses, reports, and recommendations to clients and colleagues, 
clearly explaining methodologies, findings, risks, and proposed next steps. 
• Manage multiple priorities across client projects, demonstrating strong organization, attention to 
detail, sound judgment, and accountability for meeting deadlines and client expectations. 
• Review work for accuracy and completeness, identify opportunities for improvement, and 
contribute to solving complex client problems. 
• Support the development of junior team members through training, knowledge sharing, and 
day-to-day collaboration. 
• Contribute to the growth of the firm through recruiting, training, thought leadership, and other 
internal initiatives.

 

 

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or technical field such as business, data science, finance, 
economics, or systems engineering. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 2-3 years of post-graduation career experience 
• Willing to work in the office 5 days per week, with future development into flexible, hybrid 
opportunities
• Proficient knowledge of relational databases; proficient in Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, 
PowerPoint, Outlook), with a deep understanding of leveraging Excel for complex data analysis, 
reporting, and automation. Familiarity with additional tools such as Power BI, VBA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as communication and interpersonal 
skills
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative, team-based environment
• Intellectually curious, motivated, and eager to learn
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities and effectively 
manage time to consistently meet deadlines.
