Atlas Advisors, LLC is seeking Facilities Services Assistants to support the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) in Washington, DC. The Facilities Services Assistant will provide mailroom operations, courier services, office supply management, workplace support, reception coverage, facilities coordination, and authorized executive transportation. This position requires excellent customer service, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to work professionally with personnel at all organizational levels.
WORK LOCATION
This is a full time, onsite position at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation headquarters in Washington, DC. Remote and hybrid work are not available for this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive, sort, process, route, and deliver internal and external mail and packages.
Prepare outgoing mail and packages for shipment through approved postal and commercial carriers.
Maintain chain of custody procedures for accountable, sensitive, tracked, or time sensitive materials.
Provide internal courier and document delivery services.
Receive, organize, inventory, issue, and replenish office supplies, forms, and administrative equipment.
Maintain accurate inventory, delivery, supply issuance, and service request records.
Support office moves, workspace reconfigurations, furniture placement, and conference room setups.
Receive, document, route, and follow up on facilities service requests.
Coordinate with building management, maintenance vendors, and government personnel as directed.
Monitor common areas, supply rooms, conference rooms, and designated workspaces for service or safety concerns.
Provide professional backup coverage for reception and front office operations.
Greet and direct visitors, route telephone calls, accept deliveries, and follow established visitor management and security procedures.
Serve as a primary or backup driver for authorized senior officials when assigned.
Protect sensitive, confidential, and personally identifiable information.
Maintain continuous operational coverage at assigned locations, including the loading dock, mailroom, supply room, and executive transportation functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
United States citizenship, able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
High school diploma or equivalent. Four or more years of relevant experience may substitute for the diploma requirement.
At least two years of relevant experience in construction management, warehouse or mail management, service and maintenance, engineering, facilities management, space management, building management, project management, or similar operational support functions.
Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
Experience with workplace support activities, records, inventory, mail operations, facilities coordination, or service request tracking.
Valid state driver's license that must be continuously maintained.
Desired
Experience using computerized maintenance management or work order systems.
Experience coordinating with building management, maintenance providers, or other vendors.
Experience supporting office moves, workspace configurations, conference rooms, or workplace safety activities.
Experience with postal metering equipment and commercial shipping services.
Experience providing reception, front office, or executive support.
Professional driving experience supporting executives or senior government officials.
Familiarity with federal government facilities, mailroom, security, or administrative procedures.
