The Opportunity:
Join a mission driven team supporting the United States Secret Service’s Office of Technical Operations (TEC). As a Financial Management Analyst, you will play an essential role in strengthening the financial oversight, planning, and execution of critical programs that protect national security. This position gives you the opportunity to apply deep federal financial management expertise while supporting high impact initiatives across a dynamic, technical, and fast paced government environment.


Responsibilities:

In this role, you will provide comprehensive financial management support, including:

  • Monitoring and reporting on financial activities, including budget planning, formulation, and execution.
  • Processing funding allocations and performing funds‑control management.
  • Conducting data analysis to ensure program compliance and support performance operations.
  • Providing expert advice on current and future program funding needs and potential financial issues.
  • Assisting in the development of annual and multi‑year budgets.
  • Analyzing financial trends, cost drivers, and resource requirements to support data‑driven decisions.
  • Contributing to requirements documents, cost estimates, facility technical proposals, Gantt charts, and integrated master schedules for facility and project efforts.
  • Reviewing project financial data for compliance with directives, policies, instructions, and procedures.
  • Supporting financial audits, assessments, and reviews.



Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Active, current DoD or DHS Top Secret clearance (current and fully adjudicated)
  • More than ten (10+) years of experience in federal financial management, budgeting, and appropriations.
  • Proficiency in federal government programs and budget formation/execution, appropriation law, and federal financial management regulations.
  • High proficiency communicating with DHS officials, government stakeholders, and industry leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate financial data analysis to stakeholders to prevent inaccuracies and financial issues.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and MS Project.



Desired:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Previous financial management experience supporting DHS or USSS.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
