Responsibilities

Complete Building Services is hiring Fire Control Center Engineers for a large facility in NW Washington. The Fire Control Engineer is responsible for continuously monitoring a building's fire-life safety systems and coordinating emergency responses and maintenance activities. The Fire Panels are monitored 24/7, including weekends and holidays.

Fire Control Center Engineer will be responsible to alert the Engineering Team immediately upon recognition of a problem
They will work in conjunction with the Fire and Life Safety subcontractor, Generator subcontractor, and Elevator Mechanics during inspections, testing, and maintenance of any systems or related equipment
Supports inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire suppression, detection, and life-safety systems

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

3 years of experience in building operations, fire systems, or related engineering roles
3+ years experience in like size facility (2 million sq. ft. plus)
Familiarity with fire alarm systems, life-safety codes, and building operations
Strong communication and situational awareness
OSHA Safety training
Must pass a background check
Must be eligible to work in the United States
