Float Pool RNs choose a clinical service area in which they work and must meet the requirements for their chosen area. Float Pool RN areas and requirements are as follows:
- Critical Care Float Pool RN - competent to work ICU, ACC (Telemetry), and one of the following areas: ED, PACU, Interventional Radiology, or Outpatient Recovery
- Med/Surg Float Pool RN– competent to work in Med Surg areas: Adult Medical-Surgical (7A, 7B), Oncology (5A), Orthopedics (6B)

Unit/Schedule
- Nursing Float Pool
- Full-Time, 36 hours per week.
- 12-hour Night shifts (7p-7a)
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
- Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses
- 2+ years RN experience in specialty area
- AHA CPR card

Salary Range: Minimum $56.22 per hour - Maximum $56.22 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
