Opensity Solutions is seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven Floor Host to serve as the primary point of contact for employees, guests, and visitors within a professional corporate environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating exceptional customer experiences, building relationships, and ensuring seamless day-to-day office operations.

As a Floor Host, you will provide hands-on support for meetings and events, assist guests with workspace and office resources, and maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional workplace. The ideal candidate is proactive, service-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a hospitality-focused experience for employees, guests, and visitors.
  • Serve as the visible point of contact on office floors, providing guidance, support, and information.
  • Support conference room meetings by ensuring rooms are properly set up and all requirements are met, including room configuration, supplies, temperature, lighting, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Connect with meeting organizers and attendees to ensure a seamless meeting experience.
  • Conduct regular floor walks to maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of all office spaces.
  • Assist employees and visitors with workspace reservations and support the client's hoteling and flexible workplace initiatives.
  • Monitor conference room usage and optimize meeting space utilization by identifying no-shows and reclaiming unused rooms when appropriate.
  • Respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and via email with professionalism and urgency.
  • Partner with facilities teams to report and resolve maintenance concerns such as lighting issues, damaged furniture, carpet stains, and other workplace concerns.
  • Reset meeting rooms following events and ensure spaces are ready for the next reservation.
  • Anticipate customer needs and identify creative solutions to enhance the workplace experience.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, event planning, guest services, or a related customer-facing environment.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience supporting meetings, events, or workplace services preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and audiovisual technology.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional appearance, communication style, and demeanor.
  • Ability to interact confidently with individuals at all levels of an organization.
