The Full Stack Developer (Jasper) will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering modern software solutions across the full agile development lifecycle. This position combines robust full stack engineering expertise with specialized Jasper reporting skills to build dynamic applications, generate high-quality analytics, and create impactful data visualizations.
The Work:
- Participate in the full agile development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support of Java-based applications and RESTful web services.
- Perform detailed solution and component design, ensuring architecture consistency and identifying reusable technical assets.
- Configure, build, and test application and technical architecture components with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and security.
- Analyze complex technical requirements, develop high-quality code, and debug issues to ensure alignment with design objectives and customer needs.
- Address and resolve defects discovered during testing phases, working collaboratively with QA and cross functional teams.
- Review, validate, and integrate application requirements—including functional, security, and performance criteria-into the overall solution.
- Leverage JasperReports/JasperSoft expertise to build, optimize, and maintain reporting, analytics, and visualization assets within enterprise systems.
Here’s What You Need:
- Proficiency with Java 11 or newer, including object-oriented programming and modern Java features.
- Hands-on experience with JasperReports or JasperSoft for developing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise reporting solutions.
- Strong understanding of RESTful web services and JSON for designing and integrating scalable APIs.
- Familiarity with JPA 2.1+ and Hibernate Transactions for data access and management.
- Experience with aspect-oriented programming and custom development to ensure scalable, secure, and reusable solutions.
Bonus If You Have:
- Hiring team will train on Jasper for anyone with CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator experience.
- Experience with Spring Boot or microservices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Basic knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes
- Strong grasp of secure coding practices
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
- Experience with relational database design and optimization
