Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Junior Art Director to support the execution of our E-Commerce photography and digital content. This role will partner closely with the Art Direction, Studio, Styling, and Merchandising teams to bring seasonal concepts and daily PDP content to life. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for fashion, composition, and storytelling, thrives in a fast-paced studio environment, and is eager to grow within a high-volume E-Commerce setting. You are collaborative, solutions-oriented, digitally fluent, and curious about how emerging AI tools can enhance creative workflows while maintaining brand integrity.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Art Direction & On-Set Execution
    • Support and execute daily PDP photography across on-model and off-figure shoots
    • Maintain brand standards across lighting, composition, styling, and model direction
    • Provide real-time feedback on set to ensure efficiency and quality
    • Review daily image selects and retouching to ensure consistency and accuracy
    • Help manage high-volume asset reviews while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Creative Development
    • Partner with Art Director to concept and evolve seasonal creative direction
    • Pull references and support mood board development for fashion and still-life shoots
    • Explore and responsibly leverage AI-powered creative tools for mood boarding, concept visualization, reference generation, and workflow efficiency
    • Stay informed on industry trends in E-Commerce photography, digital presentation, and AI-driven creative innovation
  • AI & Digital Innovation
    • Support experimentation with AI platforms for concept development, visual mockups, and scalable content solutions
    • Help evaluate opportunities to integrate AI into post-production, asset tagging, and creative workflow processes
    • Maintain a strong understanding of ethical AI use, brand safety, and visual authenticity standards
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with Merchandising and Web teams to ensure PDP imagery communicates product value and aligns with business goals
    • Partner with Production and Studio teams to ensure shoot readiness and clear execution
    • Help cultivate freelance relationships across photography, styling, and HMU
  • Asset & Workflow Support
    • Ensure assets meet established naming, cropping, and delivery standards
    • Support post-production reviews and provide actionable retouching notes
    • Assist in maintaining organized digital asset workflows
    • Contribute to process improvements that support scalability and efficiency
  • Team Leadership & Communication:
    • Serve as the operational bridge between creative and cross-functional teams ensuring alignment, accountability, and transparency on deliverables.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and updates clearly and proactively to stakeholders.
    • Foster a collaborative, organized, and solution-oriented team environment.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Art Direction or Digital Creative, preferably within fashion, beauty, or lifestyle
  • Strong visual portfolio demonstrating elevated taste level and understanding of brand consistency
  • Understanding of E-Commerce PDP best practices and digital content standards
  • Familiarity with AI creative platforms such as Midjourney, Runway, or similar tools
  • Curiosity about how AI can support concepting, visualization, and production efficiency
  • Experience working on set in a studio environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma 


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Understanding of E-Commerce PDP best practices and digital content standards
  • Familiarity with AI creative platforms such as Midjourney, Runway, or similar tools
  • Curiosity about how AI can support concepting, visualization, and production efficiency
  • Experience working on set in a studio environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma 
  • Experience with model casting and talent direction
  • Familiarity with retouching workflows and post-production processes
  • Experience working with freelance talent or agencies
  • Knowledge of E-Commerce platforms and DAM systems
  • Experience integrating AI tools into creative or production workflows


Compensation 

Compensation for the role will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. The estimated annual compensation for this role is $60,000-$65,000; classified as full-time exempt and not eligible for overtime.
