Lab Technician Team Lead

Job Description: 

The Orthotics Lab Lead is responsible for the fabrication of custom orthotics while overseeing daily lab operations. The role provides leadership to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality of the lab production.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Lead daily operations within the orthotics lab, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output 
• Understand and support all production stations to ensure operational continuity 
• Understands order flow and prioritization 
• Interpret prescription forms and work orders accurately to produce compliant orthotics 
• Supervise, coach, and support team members to improve performance and meet departmental goals 
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and maintain detailed performance and event logs 
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct 
• Foster a positive, accessible, and team-oriented work environment 
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall company performance 
• Take initiative in driving continuous improvement and aligning team efforts with company objectives 
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational or production issues within the lab
