TCG Property Care is a growing landscaping and property maintenance company serving commercial, municipal, and federal clients across the DC metro area — including active work on National Park Service properties. We're hiring a Landscape Superintendent to serve as the primary point of contact for daily field operations, giving our crews consistent on-site leadership and freeing up ownership to focus on business growth and client relationships.

This is a hybrid role: no fixed office attendance is required, but regular, scheduled site visits are mandatory to maintain timelines, quality standards, and workflow across active job sites, including federal contract locations.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary field point of contact across all active job sites, coordinating daily with crew leads and site supervisors

  • Oversee project timelines, workflow, and crew scheduling to keep jobs on track and on budget

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor work quality, safety compliance, and progress against contract specifications

  • Identify and resolve field issues, mishaps, and delays before they escalate

  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor logistics across multiple concurrent projects

  • Support compliance on municipal and federal contracts (e.g., NPS project standards, documentation, reporting)

  • Train, mentor, and hold crew leads and field staff accountable to safety and quality standards

  • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to ownership and office staff

  • Assist with punch lists, client walk-throughs, and closeout documentation

What We're Looking For

  • 5–10 years of experience in landscape construction/maintenance, general construction, or grounds management, including supervisory experience

  • Proven background in field operations, scheduling, and project coordination — someone who can run multiple job sites without daily oversight

  • Experience with landscape and/or construction project planning: reading site plans and blueprints, sequencing work, managing subcontractors or crews

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required — this role requires direct daily communication with field crews, safety briefings, and on-site instruction, and fluency in both languages is necessary to perform these core job functions

  • Valid driver's license; reliable transportation for site travel across the DC/MD/VA area

  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards; relevant safety certifications a plus

  • Experience with municipal, commercial, or federal contract work is a strong plus (e.g., NPS, DDOT, or similar)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills — comfortable managing people, timelines, and unexpected problems simultaneously

  • Landscape industry credentials a plus (e.g., Certified Landscape Technician, ISA Certified Arborist, PMP, or equivalent)

Compensation & Perks

  • Salary: $85,000–$105,000, commensurate with experience

  • Monthly health stipend in lieu of traditional group health insurance

  • Paid time off and holidays

  • Flexible, autonomous schedule — no fixed office hours outside of scheduled site visits

  • Performance-based bonus potential tied to project delivery and client retention

  • Opportunity to grow with the company as TCG expands its municipal and federal contract portfolio

Screening Process

Offers of employment for this role are contingent upon successful completion of:

  • A pre-employment background check

  • A pre-employment drug screening

  • Verification of professional references

  • Valid driver's license and motor vehicle record (MVR) check

TCG Property Care may also conduct periodic drug testing consistent with company policy and any applicable federal or municipal contract requirements.

Flexible work from home options available.
