Licensed Psychologist / Neuropsychologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide evidence-based psychological and neuropsychological assessment services within a federal supervision and public safety setting in Washington, DC.

This role focuses on conducting comprehensive evaluations for justice-involved adults to support treatment planning, supervision strategies, and court-related requirements. The ideal candidate has strong assessment and report-writing experience and is comfortable working in structured, compliance-driven environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct evidence-based clinical assessments

  • Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations

  • Conduct neuropsychological evaluations when indicated

  • Administer and interpret standardized assessment instruments

  • Prepare detailed written reports including diagnostic impressions and recommendations

  • Provide treatment and supervision recommendations based on findings

  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal and professional standards

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed


Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted license in Washington, DC (Psychologist or eligible mental health practitioner)

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD preferred for neuropsychological evaluations)

  • Experience conducting forensic, correctional, or court-ordered evaluations preferred

  • Strong clinical interviewing and diagnostic skills

  • Experience with cognitive and psychological testing batteries

  • Excellent written communication skills


Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with justice-involved or high-risk populations

  • Familiarity with risk assessment tools

  • Experience in structured, compliance-focused environments

  • Ability to manage multiple evaluations and meet reporting deadlines
