We pride ourselves on fostering stable, high- quality communities for residents, and we are looking for team members who share that mission. About the Role The Maintenance Technician will assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity, safety, and cleanliness of a HUD/Tax Credit-regulated affordable housing community. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, and understands the importance of maintaining compliance, quick response times, and strong resident relationships. Key Responsibilities •    Perform daily maintenance tasks in compliance with HUD, REAC, and other affordable housing standards •    Support unit turnovers to ensure apartments meet program requirements and quality expectations •    Maintain a clean and hazard free community environment •    Electrical: Troubleshoot and repair wiring, fixtures, and circuits •    Plumbing: Repair pipes, fixtures, and unclog drains •    HVAC: Assist with heating and cooling system maintenance •    Appliances: Diagnose and repair major appliances •    Carpentry: Repair stairs, railings, cabinets, doors, fencing •    General Building: Roofing, gutters, flooring, drywall, interior/exterior lighting •    Safety & Compliance: Maintain door locks, smoke detectors, gas fixtures, and security systems (if applicable) •    Assist with pre-REAC inspections and remediation tasks •    Experience in affordable housing, HUD, Tax Credit, Section 8, or similar regulated housing preferred •    Strong customer- service skills and ability to work with diverse resident populations •    Ability to complete work professionally and in a timely manner •    Basic knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair •    Knowledge or experience with HappyCo software a plus Job Type •    Full-time Benefits •    401(k) with company matching •    Health, dental, and vision insurance •    Life insurance •    Paid time off •    Employee discounts •    Tuition reimbursement •    Professional development assistance •    Opportunities for advancement Qualifications
