Position Title: Maintenance Technician Position Overview: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Growve Team in Southern Utah. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing, packaging, and facility equipment used in nutraceutical and dietary supplement production. This role supports uptime, safety, and compliance in a GMP-regulated environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical aptitude, basic electrical and electronic control knowledge, and the ability to respond quickly to production needs. Objectives & Responsibilities: Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment (capsule fillers, tablet presses, blenders, conveyors, labeling, bottling, and cartoning equipment) Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic electronic control system issues Perform basic electrical wiring, motor replacement, sensor troubleshooting, and control component replacement (relays, contactors, switches) Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals Support equipment changeovers and line setups to minimize downtime Document maintenance activities in CMMS or maintenance logs Ensure all work complies with GMP, safety, and food-grade standards Respond to emergency maintenance calls during production hours Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Skills & Qualifications: Basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting skills (120V/240V, motors, sensors) Basic understanding of electronic control systems Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to read schematics and technical documentation Experience working in GMP, food, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical manufacturing environments preferred Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Strong problem-solving and time-management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Experience with PLCs at a basic level (input/output identification, fault recognition) - preferred Experience with capsule, tablet, or liquid filling equipment Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
