Management Analyst (Journeyman)

OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that supports Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties

OCT currently has an opening for a Management Analyst to work with our federal client.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Lead facilitation sessions to gather requirements.
  • Manage program documentation.
  • Support performance management by developing and tracking key metrics.
  • Develop and recommend business transition and change management tactics to facilitate organizational change, while ensuring strategic objectives are met. This includes identifying potential risks, proposing mitigation strategies, engaging stakeholders, and aligning transition activities with the organization’s goals and priorities.
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience or Master’s degree (MA/MS), with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant

  • Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience or Master’s degree (MA/MS), with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience  (8) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a formal degree. Relevant experience includes business process re-engineering, change management, facilitation, and strategic analysis. Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in support of federal government agencies. Experience with the USCG or DHS is preferred. 
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Clearance Requirements: Must be able to undergo and successfully complete a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 qualifying Tier 2 background investigation for Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.
  • Location/on-site requirements: Primarily on-site in Washington, DC, with off-site remote work authorized on a situational, case-by-case basis.

Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000
