Swarm Aero is redefining air power, building the largest swarming UAV and the most versatile swarming aircraft network in the world. The company is moving quickly to launch the first aircraft designed specifically for swarming, as well as the Command & Control software to mobilize swarms of thousands of heterogeneous autonomous assets and empower human operators to achieve superhuman results.

The team has created and exited multiple startups, negotiated defense deals worth billions of dollars, and designed and built 30+ novel aircraft, with aerospace experience from Scaled Composites, Airbus, Archer Aviation, Blue Origin, and Boom Supersonic.

The Mission Success Lead builds strong relationships with customers and does what it takes to ensure we deliver with excellence. Our success hinges on your close coordination and communication with the customer, quarterbacking deliverables across multiple internal functions and external partners, and pushing delivery of complex work forward until it exceeds the customer’s expectations. This role requires active security clearance and ability to gain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities: 

  • Radical responsibility and ownership: You will own and drive a key relationship from day one. Every day you will find ways to build trust with this customer, strengthen our reputation with them, and bring the company’s full capabilities to bear to solve their problems.  

  • Customer obsession: You will become the person on our team who most deeply understands this customer by listening for what they need, identifying pain points, and proactively devising solutions. In this role you will grok customer challenges and missions from first principles, side-by-side with them. Communicate what the customer needs to your colleagues and ensure we together deliver the highest quality service. 

  • Technical curiosity: Become an expert in Swarm’s proprietary technologies and a super user capable of demonstrating their full capabilities.

  • Be there for the customer. Make trips, as needed, to demo capabilities and engage with customers and other project stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Moved with urgency to make big things happen 

  • Delighted and took care of customers

  • Experience with government or commercial software projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • People skills and customer empathy

  • An organized, focused approach to execution

  • Humility, quick learning, flexibility, and a collaborative work ethic

  • Strong writing and presentation skills

  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
