Network Operations Service Area Manager

GovCIO is currently hiring for Network Operations Manager to support our client’s contract needs. This position is located in the Washington, DC area and will be an onsite position. 

• Manage infrastructure team, oversee day to day O&M activities, work with your team on improvement projects and manage outage mitigation
• Manage activities related to maintenance patching and/or upgrades and vulnerability mitigation
• Work with PMO to forecast growth and project opportunities
• Work closely with Govt network managers collaborating, reporting all related activities
• Work closely with other technical service areas on escalated issues
• May perform other duties, as assigned

Bachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with Networking Technologies (Cisco, Nexus)
• Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with Firewalls (Azure, Cisco Secure)
• Experience in Vulnerability Mitigation
• Familiar with Microsoft Servers (2020, MECM)
• Familiar with Red Hat 10
• Familiar with VPN Technologies
