National Therapy Center is seeking a full-time OR part-time licensed, experienced Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our DC clinic.

You'll work with children and families from11:00 AM - 6:30 PM, up to five days per week. This opportunity offers flexibility, autonomy, and a consistent schedule while making a lasting impact through family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations using standardized and non-standardized assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to pediatric developmental and functional needs.
  • Regularly update plans of care based on clinical progress and client goals.
  • Provide in-person, clinic-based occupational therapy services to pediatric clients.
  • Use evidence-based approaches to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, handwriting, self-care, visual-motor integration, executive functioning, and play.
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including daily session notes, progress reports, evaluations, and discharge summaries.
  • Communicate with families regarding client progress and recommendations.
  • Communicate with other treating therapists to support collaborative care when needed.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active DC OTR/L license.
  • Excellent clinical reasoning, documentation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.
