Overview

As the Operations Analyst working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will support Data Analytics and Information Management tasking. You will be expected to have knowledge of and access to program datasets and broader information systems and databases such as NSWC Corona Ship Maintenance Data Improvement Initiative (SMDII), Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), Navy Data Environment (NDE), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

 

 

This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or performance data for review by managers and other stakeholders
  • Identify and analyze industry trends with business strategy implications
  • Analyze business intelligence and data to support recommendations for action and updates to processes and procedures
  • Study work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, and cost analysis
  • Compile reports, charts, graphs, and online content that describe and interpret findings of analyses
  • Compile statistics from source materials such as program datasets and broader Navy information systems; Display them appropriately for their intended use 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in math, science, engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience 
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • 10% travel

Preferred: 

  • Master's degree in science, engineering, or related field 
  • Minimum of 7 years professional experience
