Description
The PMO Analyst (Mid) provides program and project management support for Navy initiatives, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and aligned with organizational goals. This role supports planning, tracking, reporting, and governance of multiple projects while ensuring compliance with DoD and NAVSEA directives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution Support
- Support planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple projectsÂ
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocationsÂ
- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with scope and objectivesÂ
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), milestones, and deliverablesÂ
- Develop reports, dashboards, and briefings for leadershipÂ
- Analyze project data to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunitiesÂ
Financial & Resource Oversight
- Assist in budget tracking, cost analysis, and resource allocationÂ
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgetsÂ
- Support financial reporting and forecasting activitiesÂ
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify risks and issues that may impact project deliveryÂ
- Develop mitigation strategies and track resolution effortsÂ
- Coordinate with stakeholders to address challenges proactivelyÂ
Process Improvement & Governance
- Develop and implement PMO processes, tools, and best practicesÂ
- Ensure compliance with DoD, DoN, SECNAV, and NAVSEA directivesÂ
- Support standardization of reporting and project management methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree + 5 years experience OR 10+ years relevant experienceÂ
- Experience in:Â
- Project/program management supportÂ
- Data analysis and reportingÂ
- Required:Â
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent)Â
