Meta's America's Workforce Academy (AWA) is a flagship initiative connecting underserved communities to career-ready training pathways and employer hiring pipelines. We are looking for a Program Coordinator to serve as the front door for all AWA partnership inquiries and requests — managing the intake process from initial contact through routing and resolution — while providing critical event planning and logistical coordination support across the full AWA team. This role requires someone who thrives in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments, brings strong organizational and communication skills, and can manage complex logistics while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support AWA team members in executing priorities across employer, community, and institutional partnerships.
  • Manage the AWA partnership request inbox/portal — receive, log, triage, and route all inbound partnership inquiries to the appropriate team member.
  • Conduct initial vetting and information gathering on prospective partners (employers, community organizations, educational institutions, government entities).
  • Maintain the partnership request tracker and ensure timely follow-up and status updates to requestors.
  • Prepare intake summaries and recommendation briefs for the Program Managers and Director.
  • Maintain and update partnership databases, CRM records, and contact lists.
  • Assist in planning and executing AWA events including employer roundtables, program launches, graduation ceremonies, stakeholder convenings, and site visits.
  • Coordinate logistics: venue booking, catering, A/V, travel, invitations, RSVPs, and day-of execution.
  • Manage recurring meeting cadences (team syncs, partner check-ins, regional calls, advisory board meetings).
  • Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and post-meeting summaries with action items.
  • Coordinate cross-functional scheduling with internal Meta teams (Policy, Communications, Legal, Community Partnerships).

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in program coordination, project management, event logistics, or operations support
  • Experience managing intake processes, CRM/database systems, or tracking workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex logistics across multiple stakeholders, venues, or geographies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing briefing materials, agendas, or summaries for senior audiences
  • Proficiency in productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or project management platforms)
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Experience in large-scale event planning or multi-site operational coordination
  • Background in government consulting, federal agency engagement, or public-sector program management
  • Experience with stakeholder vetting, partner onboarding, or business development support
  • Familiarity with workforce development, education policy, or community partnerships
  • Experience recruiting, training, or managing teams or volunteer cohorts
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with shifting priorities
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a technology or large enterprise environment
