The Opportunity: As a ROGERCO Program Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of senior-level Army conferences supporting the Office of the Chief of Staff of the Army (OCSA) and Headquarters, Department of the Army, G-3/5/7. You will serve as the primary interface with the Government's Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and conference planners, guiding each event from venue research and cost estimating through on-site delivery and after-action reporting. You will direct a multidisciplinary team, oversee subcontractors and venue staff, and ensure every event meets Army Regulation 1-50 and Federal event standards while delivering the best value to the Army.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single, consistent point of contact between ROGERCO and the COR and Government planners throughout each planning cycle.
  • Attend all In-Process Reviews (IPRs) and coordination meetings and represent the company on-site during events.
  • Translate Government conference requirements, agendas, and attendee data into executable event plans.
  • Direct venue research, comparisons, and AR 1-50 compliant cost estimates for candidate venues, securing lodging at or below the per diem rate.
  • Lead final site visits and walk-through rehearsals, and direct on-site staff, subcontractors, and venue personnel during execution.
  • Develop and maintain the Quality Control (QC) Plan and ensure performance against the QASP and Performance Requirements Summary.
  • Oversee Other Direct Cost (ODC) tracking, monthly financial status reports, and delivery of actual cost and attendee data within 15 days of each event.
  • Maintain the lessons-learned log and lead after-action reviews with the COR and conference sponsor.
  • Coordinate optional services when ordered, including conference microsite, printed binders, audiovisual support, and hybrid delivery.
  • Provide event planning and execution support to the Army Protocol office when not engaged in active conference planning.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Must possess an active SECRET clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience coordinating conferences or comparable events, including lodging, meals, facilities, transportation, and speaker coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising employees and directing event teams.
  • Working knowledge of AR 1-50 (Army Conference Policy) and conference approval, documentation, and reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), GSA per diem structure, and Government cost estimating practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent events and competing priorities in a high-tempo environment.
  • Strong communication skills for interfacing with senior Government leaders, protocol staff, and vendors.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting DoD, Army, or other Federal Government conferences, particularly senior leader or General Officer forums.
  • Experience planning events within the National Capital Region.
  • Familiarity with Army Protocol operations and distinguished visitor (DV) support.
  • Proficiency with conference planning and registration software.
